The masjid does not offer burial/cemetery services.

  • Liaise with coroners/local council to process paperwork needed for release/burial of the deceased

  • Liaise with local cemeteries to arrange burial dates/times

  • Vehicle with a capacity to carry a maximum of two deceased bodies

  • Vehicle with loading/unloading equipment

  • Routes to and from hospital/home/masjid/cemetery

• Ghusl

  Family and friends of the deceased are encouraged to fulfil the rights of the deceased by partaking in the ritual washing of the deceased as per the Sunnah.

  • Strict hygiene procedures will be followed

  • Facilities and equipment for bathing/preparing the deceased for burial

  • Kaffan (coffin cloth) included

  • Volunteers can be arranged to assist in Ghusl

• Mortuary Storage

  • Cold room for overnight body storage

  • Capacity to store a maximum of three bodies at any one time
