Covid-19
GMBC is pleased to advise that we now have a procedure in place for Covid-19 Burial.
New policies ensure that there is no risk to volunteers providing GMBC instruction and guidelines are strictly followed.
GMBC has introduced new measures to ensure every coronavirus related Muslim death in Gloucestershire and surrounding area is given a dignified and traditional Muslim burial.
All residents of Gloucester will be buried in Gloucester.
Residents of Cheltenham and surrounding areas will be buried in Cheltenham Cemetery.
With immediate effect and until further notice will have to abide by the rules and regulation as set by Government and the local authority for Burial and Ghusal.
We acknowledge this is a difficult time for everyone, particularly those who will have lost loved ones and possibly not be able to participate or attend.
