At South London Islamic Centre we provide a free Muslim Funeral Service to all Muslims across South London providing advice, support and resources to family and friends of a deceased or someone approaching death, in order to reduce the burden and stress at their time of need.
We will guide you to ensure that your family member or friend are buried according to Islamic sharia and in addition offer post death advice and support including counselling from an Islamic prospective.
The bereaved family will only be required to pay the cemetery fees, all other Masjid services will be provided free of charge. Please speak to us if you need financial support to assist with cemetery fees.
Our end of life guides provide essential information on potentially avoiding an unnecessary invasive post mortem in a terminally ill or elderly frail family member who is nearing the end of their life, the role of the coroners and information on how performing a CT scan or MRI can be used as an alternative to an invasive post mortem in certain situations.
